On September 26 - 29, 2002 Ministry for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation and Krasnodar Krai Administration will be hosting the first Economic Forum «Kuban-2002» that will take place in Sochi (Hotel «Dagomys»).
The Economic Forum «Kuban-2002» is held to enable representatives of Russian and foreign business circles to get first hand information on conditions of doing business in Krasnodar Krai; to demonstrate recent positive changes in the economy and social sphere; and to feature new opportunities for the development of cooperation in the field of trade, economy and investments.
The Forum activities will contain presentations of the investments projects in the field of resorts' infrastructure, agroindustrial complex, housing and communal services, transport as well as green sites for assembly works, construction of new plants and civil construction.
The Forum participants will include high-ranking officials from the Russian Federation Ministries and departments, the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and the Southern Federal Okrug, Deputies of Russian Federation State Duma, Commercial Attaches and representatives of Embassies of leading foreign countries, Russian and foreign banks, investment companies, financial and industrial structures, heads of Russian regions, cities and areas, enterprises - recipients of investments.
The Forum will become a significant stage in enhancing the positive image of Krasnodar Krai in the opinion of the international community as the territory of economic growth, favourable for investment of capital, and will promote the establishment of new mutually beneficial business contacts with our region.
