Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

The 1st International Economic Forum «Kuban-2002» held in September 2002 in Sochi, Russia, was very well accepted both by the Russian and the international community.

The Forum gathered over 500 participants, including the heads of the Russian Federation Ministries and Departments, representatives of the Russian Federation Government, deputies of the Russian Federation State Duma, Commercial Attaches and representatives of foreign Embassies, businessmen and entrepreneurs.

The Forum participants shared their interests and expressly wished the Forum to become an annual event of this type.

The Krasnodar Krai Administration is pleased to announce that the 2nd International Economic Forum will be held in October 9 - 12, 2003 in Sochi, Russia, and invites you to join the Forum activities. The Forum motto is «KRASNODAR KRAI - INVESTMENT GATEWAY TO RUSSIA».

The Aim of the Forum is to promote business relations between Russian regions and the international community with the purpose to attract international investments, thereby ensuring sustainable economic development of territories; to further enhance the favourable regional investment climate; to strengthen international and interregional trade and economic relations, to speed up the integration of Russia into the global economic system.

We invite and encourage representatives of the Russian Federation entities, international financial institutions, Embassies of the leading foreign countries, business elite, legislative and executive authorities to become Forum guests and participants.

The Forum agenda will include plenary sessions, exhibitions and presentations of investment projects as well as round-tables and discussions.
