Development of its oil products business in Kuban is a part of the larger long-term program of strengthening of «YUKOS» Oil Company positions in the whole Northern Caucasus market. The Company holds leading positions in the market of Stavropol Krai (26 %), Krasnodar Krai (15%), Volgograd Oblast (12%) and Rostov Oblast (15%).
Krasnodar Krai is the strategically important region for the development of sales of «YUKOS» Oil Company. In the 4 years since the Company started selling oil products in Kuban, the amount of oil products supplied has increased more than 3 times. The company sells oil products in Krasnodar Krai using its own motor transport from 3 tank farms. There is a service of tanker deliveries by a fleet of modern petrol tankers of capacities ranging from 3.5 tons to 30 tons.
«YUKOS» Oil Company has 36 filling stations in Krasnodar Krai, 15 out of which offer a full complex of service station facilities. 5 filling stations were reconstructed over the first six months of the year 2003. The construction of 27 new filling stations is planned for the years 2003-2004.
In addition to the guaranteed quality of its oil products «YUKOS» Oil Company maintains the highest up-to-date standards of service at its filling stations. Payments methods widely used at filling stations include automatic bank transfers and electronic plastic smart - cards.
«YUKOS» Oil Company has positive experience of cooperating with the Krasnodar Krai Administration in part of lubricants supply, including conclusion of contracts for the supply of fuel for State Unitary Enterprise «Kuban Food Fund».
Being one of the leaders of the national economy, «YUKOS» Oil Company realizes its responsibility for the prosperity of the regions of its presence. The company is actively engaged in implementation of social programs: it renders support to culture, health, physical training, military patriotic youth education institutions and establishments. For the year 2002 and the first half of the year 2003 in total, the Company allocated over 6 million Roubles for social programs, including 1 million Roubles for elimination of the aftermath of the 2002 floods.
