ZARUBEZHNEFT: 36 Years of Effective Activities in Implementation of International Oil and Gas Projects.

Russian Foreign Economic Association ZARUBEZHNEFT (NESTRO) is the leading Enterprise in the energy sector of Russia for foreign cooperation in the field of oil and gas. The main objectives of the Enterprise are preparation and implementation of programs and projects abroad for complex geological exploration and development of oil and gas fields, both on land and offshore.

ZARUBEZHNEFT has been a competent and authoritative participant of the international oil community. ZARUBEZHNEFT took part in implementation of oil and gas projects in more than 30 countries. Important establishments in the oil industries of Algeria, Vietnam, India, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Syria, Cuba and other countries were built with the Enterprise's direct participation and playing a coordinating role.

Today major projects of the Enterprise are implemented in Vietnam, Syria, India and the Caspian states - Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Among the most successful foreign projects of ZARUBEZHNEFT Russian-Vietnamese Joint Venture «Vietsovpetro», one of the top ten of the most economically effective oil-producing companies in the world.

ZARUBEZHNEFT is a permanent participant of the following inter-governmental commissions for trade-and-economic and scientific-technical cooperation: Russian-Vietnamese, Russian-Syrian, Russian-Iranian and others.

The Government of the Russian Federation assigned ZARUBEZHNEFT an authorized organization for rendering assistance in ensuring the interests of Russia in the preparation and implementation of production sharing agreements.

Annual input of ZARUBEZHNEFT into the federal budget of Russia - over 500 million USD.

THE MAIN FIELDS OF ACTIVITIES:
ZARUBEZHNEFT provides its foreign partners with:

• analysis and summary of the current geological and geophysical materials, complex exploration work at oil and gas fields;
• complex scientific research, survey and design of surface facilities;
• exploratory drilling and production wells in oil-and-gas fields;
• constructing and modernizing all-around well facilities in oil and gas fields;
• major and current repairs of temporarily shut-in or low-productivity wells;
• complex works on oil recovery enhancement;
• oil and gas industry objects construction;
• oil and oil product sales;
• modern technological equipment supplies, including:
  • offhore field exploration and production facilities;
  • equipment for drilling deep exploratory and production wells;
  • equipment for exploration, development and repairs of oil and gas wells;
  • equipment for field treatment of oil, gas and water;
  • general purpose vehicles, lifting and road construction equipment, oil and gas pipeline construction units.
• liquidation of technological break-downs, including well fires;
• environmental monitoring and works on nature and equipment safety;
• training oil specialists of all categories and professions in the Russian universities and on site.
