The Managing Company MC «TPS» has been established in June 2004 on the initiative of Administration of Krasnodar region, under the support of the President and Government of Russian Federation. Constitutors of the Company are the Administration of Krasnodar Region, the Financial Corporation «URALSIB», JSC AKB «Russky Generalny Bank», JSC «Novorossisk Commercial Seaport», JSC «Kombinat Importpishcheprom» and other large scale stevedore enterprises of Tsemesskaya Bay.
The main objective of establishment of MC «TPS» is the coordination of management of different aspects of activity of Novorossisk stevedore enterprises with the objective if the increase of total volumes of cargo transshipment by Novorossisk transport junction and the strengthening of competition positions of regional stevedore companies-founders of MC «TPS».

Major Objectives of MC «TPS»:
- increase of volume of transshipment of cargo, attraction of new effective kinds of cargo;
- preparation and realization of the complex program of the development of TPS companies as component part of Novorossisk transport juncture;
- strengthening of competitive positions of TPS companies;
- implementation of contemporary systems of management and logistics in TPS companies;
- securing the interaction of TPS companies with state profile bodies and companies Administration of Krasnodar Region, Ministry of Transport of RF, Rosimushchestvo, Federal Service on Tariffs, FSUE «Rosmorport», JSCО «RZHD»).
In 2003 the total volume of transshipped loads by Novorossisk stevedore companies which had been since June 2004 under the management of MC «TPS»reached 70 mln ton.
According to data of the Service Rosmorflot of the RF Ministry of Transport by results of 2003 MC «TPS» occupies the leading place among stevedore companies of Russian Federation

By total volume of transshipped loads in 2003 the group of companies TPS is the largest in CIS. It is included into 40 largest international and 10 largest European stevedore companies and terminals.
In the number of the main geographical regions the trade relations of which are serviced by stevedore companies TPS are the following: South and South-east Asia, Middle East, Africa, Mediterranean and South America. The relative closeness of Novorossisk to the largest foreign markets determines the maximal economic attractiveness of transshipment.
