The Fourth Annual International Economic Forum "Kuban -2005" will be held from 28-th September till 1-st October, 2005. The Forum is organized by the Krasnodar Region Administration, the Administration of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the South Federal District, Ministry for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with support of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Holding economic Forum in Kuban is becoming a traditional event of economic life of Russia. It possesses significant importance for Russian and international business community. Themes of Forum are far beyond the framework of regional economy. The Decision of RF Government conferred the rank of an annual event to the Kuban Forum.

The main goal of Forum is carrying out consultations and discussions between business and power on enhacement of investment and development of processes in the Russian regions.

Forum will consider questions of strategic development of economy of Krasnodar Region and Russian administrative entities, paths of formation of favorable investment climate, problems of interaction of power and business under conditions of globalization of economy. Priority projects of branches of agricultural complex of the southernmost region of Russia will be presented.

One of main themes proposed for discussion at the 4th international economic Forum in Sochi will be the development of tourist and transport complexes of Russia and investing into the innovation.

Special attention will be paid to problems of development of trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural links of Mediterranean basin countries with southern regions of Russia and other territories of the country as well as to other pressing questions.

Participants of Forum "Kuban" are managers of legislative and executive authorities of RF, representatives of Government of the Russian Federation, Ministries and Administrations, heads of administrative entities of the Russian Federation, major important international financial institutions and business entities, heads of diplomatic and trade missions, scientists and public figures.

Organization principles of Forum activities are based on negotiations, consultations and on creation of non-political atmosphere.
