Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

On behalf of the Administration if Krasnodar Region I invite you to participate in the work of the 4th International Economic Forum “Kuban-2005” which is to be held from September 28 to October 1, 2005 in Sochi City.

The Forum is held by the Administration of Krasnodar Region jointly with RF Ministry of Economic Development and Trade with the support of the Staff of the Plenipotentiary Representative of RF President in the South Federal District, Government of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The most important trend of activity capable of providing the dynamic development of economy of the region the Administration considers being the promotion of the process of investments attraction, establishment of favorable investment climate. The effectiveness of the chosen strategy has been confirmed by practice – in 2000-2003 the Region has come forward to ten best Russian regions. Efforts of the Administration of the Region have created the favorable economic and legislative climate for local and foreign investors. The legal base of the investment activity has been recognized as one of the best in Russia. Political stability and high life standards of population are distinguished features of Kuban.

The objective of Forum holding is the acceleration of integration of Russian regions into the global economic system, energization of the process of accedence of Russia to WTO, establishment of the unified social-economic space, assistance in the formation on investment attractive image of the country.

Managers and representatives of Federal of State power authorities of Russia, deputies of the State Duma of Russian Federation, Members of the Federation Council, Heads of Administrative Entities and municipal formations of Russian Federation, Representatives of Embassies and Trade Missions of leading foreign countries, international and Russian financial institutions, scientific and business circles participate in the work of the Forum every year.

Issues of strategic development of economy of Krasnodar Region and Administrative Entities of the Russian Federation, possibilities of formation of the favorable investment climate of regions of the country, questions of power and business cooperation, priority projects of branches of economic complex of the most southern region of Russia are to be discussed.
